Where it all began
Heartfelt Products was incorporated to provide our Managing Director the ability to be able to return to work after a long term disability and when no one would employ her. She was thirteen years disabled and most of the first six years in bed and confined at home. As a single parent of two boys she was determined to regain her mobility and be able to return to work. Denise's creative endeavours have awarded her a British title for Innovation for a product which gained immense acclaim.
Where It All Began
Unfortunately, her product was copied and sold worldwide without her consent. She was then pivotal in helping change the laws surrounding the theft of Intellectual Property in the UK. This now holds up to ten years imprisonment for companies in the UK who steal your design. She has been on Dragons Den, ITV news and BBC 2's Working Lunch live.
The most important part of her life is her focus on Community and has set up many community projects including an independent Scrub Hub during Covid for the whole of North Devon.
